A red and green theme was initially on my mind with this one. That, and the strong opposition of the fabric’s vertical stripes with the horizontal slats in the background. The red pins in the bottle were my wife’s idea, which provide a nice high chroma counterpoint to the red handles of the pliers. The cool grays and neutrals of the metal and glass stand in between the complimentary reds and greens, like the fulcrum of a lever.
